Anyone with underactive Thyroid, who takes a natural approach to treatment? Any tips or advice?

  • AVOID FLUORIDE. Fluoride blocks iodine absorption. Don't take drugs made from fluorine derivatives (like Prozac), don't drink fluoridated water, do not cook in nonstick skillets, don't drink tea. Avoid foods that contain thiouracil (cabbage, broccoli), avoid soy, turnips, mustard, peanuts, and millet.

    You need a diet rich in iodine, selenium, tyrosine, vitamins A,, B-complex C & E, and zinc.
