2 Bumps

Did you have a baby over 9 lbs?

My daughter was 9lbs 3oz, and I carried her up high. Now my baby 2, is also a girl, but I swear she is super low. I wonder if she will be super small, because at this point w/ my first I could distinguish where her head was, her feet, etc. W/ this baby it's so far down, I can't really tell. I don't think she is going to be as big, but I wonder if other babies stay in the same weight range. I sure hope so, I love kissing those chubby cheeks!

  • Yep. My oldest was 9lbs 5ozs. Number 2 was 8lbs 4ozs...

I don't know what number 3 is gonna weigh, but yeah, she is feeling to be around 12lbs! lol! I'll tell you in a few weeks what the actual tally is.

  • my three babies were 6.9, 10.2, then 8.4. the only reason my middle was so big is because i didn't have her until i was 43 weeks along. the chubby cheeks were awesome :) lol and she looked like a 3 mo old baby when she came out!

  • I didn't, but, My friends first baby was 9lb2oz. Her second was 8lbs and the third was 7 or 8. 4th was more average too. So, it's really possible.

  • My middle was my biggest- he was 9 lb 10 oz at birth. The doctor estimated my 3rd would be a '10 pounder' but when he came out he was the smallest of the lot at only 8 lb 2 oz. My 1st was 8 lb 7 oz at birth.

  • No, my daughter was only 5 lbs 12 oz and was 4 weeks early.

But I do personally know of a few people that have had babies that big and even bigger!
