My 3 yr old has had a persistant cough for a few weeks, but it doesn't wake him or keep him up and is mild during the day.
Opinions on if you think a trip to the doctor is warrented? He is healthy in every other way.
I don't want to drag him to the doctor just to have them tell me that I should keep doing hat im doing. But don't want to overlook anything either.

We just did this. Very frustrating. And just for the cough. Our issue: allergies and sinus. So he ordered in a medication to help decrease the cough and to open up the lungs. Albuterol. It has helped and the cough is starting to go away.
