Part one of 2:Would you ever stop cooking a roast or eggs or a cake before the alloted time if it isn't cooked all the way through...just because you were hungry and ready to eat?

Would you stop frying chicken before it is cooked all the way through just because you are ready for it to be done? Why not? It's mostly done... What would be so wrong?
