what would you call this?

i got this *beloved* recipe from a close friend of mine about a year ago. she herself calls it parmesan chicken, but everytime i call it that people think of chicken parmesan, with the red sauce and mozzerella. this is actually much different. we have so lovingly called it "(her name's) chicken" but i think other people have made it and probably know what it is really called. now i call it parmesan crusted chicken. what do you think?

fileted chicken breasts spread out on a cookie sheat. spread mayo on each one, sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese, then sprinkle breadcrumbs. bake at 275 til done. it is really delicious btw!

  • It's a recipe that's been around for a long time, and I can understand people who are not familiar with it might be confused, but the correct name is Parmesan Chicken. When I am serving it, or telling someone about it, I always explain how it's made, then they understand.
