  • I would consider buying toys that your baby can grow into when they start toddling around. Usually many of the toys have an age range. And there are plenty of wonderful toys for children to play with from learning toys, pull toys, musical toys, cuddly toys like teddy bears, etc.

  • I have a 6 month old and I plan on getting her some blocks, a shape sorter and that stackable ring thing by Fisher Price. I'm also thinking about a jumperoo and a few rattles/teethers.

  • I think the wrapping paper is more interesting to them at that age - you could wrap up anything ... lol

  • We always did the first christmas ornament and then saved the money for bigger presents when they got a little bigger and understood.

  • Lamaze toys, they are soft, make cool sounds and easy for small hands to manipulate.

  • My son was born in April. He is getting the fisher price activity table, fisher price ball popper, a wagon for next summer, toy cell phone, bath toys, and a babys first christmas ornament.

  • Doesnt really matter. They won't understand what's going on or be able to help unwrap really. They wont even be that excited about the toys they get lol. I think my son played with teh wrapping paper balls the entire time.
