That's what charting is for. The Rhythm Method is not so great for birth control, unless you have EXTREMELY regular periods (which few women do), and I wouldn't use it SOLELY as a means to get pregnant. Your best bet is to at least check your vaginal discharge. Put some between your index finger and your thumb, and press them together, then pull. If it's sticky, and pulls apart, then you're not ovulating. If it's slimy and stringy (think egg whites), there's a good chance you're ovulating.
