Have you ever figured out who someone was who posted Anonymously or caught a troll in action?

Sometime I see anonymous polls and by the way the person writes I can almost pin point who they are. Now this only happened twice. I was just curious if you ever were able to figure someone out. In some cases it can be really helpful like for example when someone wants to do danger to themselves, it would be great to find out if they're ok. Or if you encounter a "Troll." I cant wait to catch my first troll but the time I get to the post 3 other people already claimed her.
