  • Yes, especially when it comes to custody. My son divorced. His ex-wife did some things that were awful right down to 3 affairs and taking his daughter into hiding for 4 weeks because she "thought" he would do that (even though he had never hinted he would run). She accused him of abuse which was she admitted was a lie and is illegal to make false claims to get custody; yet she got everything she wanted. When he returned to court after she posted questionable pictures on the internet of his 3 yo daughter and ex's boyfriend, she was given residential custody of the child, and my son's parenting time was decreased. What!!!!! She is posting my granddaughter drinking beer, he wants her removed from the home, and he gets LESS time. Welcome to ultra-liberal Michigan. Descriminated against ------- HELL YES!

I kinda link that with outer appearances, too. People feel safer and more drawn to a woman. Women aren't as physically threatening, come across as more charming and more appealing physically. Men are more likely to stop their car and let a female cross, but will let a man wait.

My DH and DSes have often had to catch up to a woman whose being allowed to cross, so that he can himself cross the parking lot, as well. Of course assuming that cute girl is safer and nicer than the guy over there is naive and small minded, but its how we've been programmed.

  • i think men get tougher sentences to prison. the system on the other hand tends to be a bit light and fluffy with women. imo
