How do you get the "gray" out?

I have some white bras that are turning gray from wear. I wash them BY HAND because if I use a washer, it will void the guarantee. I wash them after every other use but around the armpit and straps, they are still turning.

ideas on how to get it out without resorting to bleach?

  • I would use a vinegar solution and/or old fashioned bluing (you can still find it in some grocery stores).

  • Can you pour bleach directly on the stains? I can recommend that you buy nude bra's from now on though. They do get like that after a while, but it's not quite as bad looking.

  • Bleach will ruin the elastic of the bras.

  • I was them in Woolite and they are still gray. I will try the oxiclean and look for the fabric bluing.
