  • I want an iPad because "there's an app for that." I already have kindle and a couple of ereader programs on the laptop and iPhone but want something to surf the net on vacation without lugging the laptop (and leaving dh without us and a computer for 3 weeks.)

  • Ipad. Its a multipurpose. Plus you can download Nook right onto it for free!

  • Don't get the iPad...there is one called the Pandigital that is just as good, it is compatible with the Nook and it even says on the box that it get Barnes & Nobles downloads and it's also does all the stuff the iPad does for 1/4 the cost.

  • I prefer the actual book. There is something engaging about holding the book and turning the pages, smelling the paper, and feeling the print. You don't get that from electronics.

  • Nook, that is what I have. My friend had a Kindle and just bought a Nook, she didn't like her Kindle.
