My family always ask me to keep their children. The kids are not a bother. I just need some time to get my own family in order. How can I turn them down without making the kids feel unwelcome?

  • I would just tell them that while their kids aren't at all a problem, you have your plate full with what's going on with your family, and that if you could manage it you would love to, but you can't. I'm sure they could understand your wanting to, but not being able to. :)
