  • My favorite Biblical name for a boy is Elijah, and you can put most any name with it. Or, Malachi, Isaiah, all great names.

  • Salem. It's my son's name and I love it. This is an excerpt from a note I made on my FB page about my kids' names.

Salem is Hebrew for peace, it is not Salim, though they mean the same. Salem is even mentioned in the Bible "For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated ‘king of righteousness,' and then also king of Salem, meaning ‘king of peace,' without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually" (Hebrews 7:1-3)
