whats the difference between being depressed and having clinical depression? And what are the signs?
i think im depressed.

  • Depression is in general a feeling you get that's temporary. Such as, bills to pay, child sick, stress in our daily lifes that can get us down but we overcome it. Clinical depression is when you are unable to let simple things go and need to seek help. There are wonderful programs & meds that treat clinical depression, so don't be afraid to speak up if you are depressed.

  • Some of the signs are: loss of or increase in appetite, fatigue, inability to concentrate, forgetfulness, dwelling on things, the inability to be enthusiastic, restlessness, broken sleep, no desire to do things. There are others. Kathy 675 is right. If you can't afford a Dr. though, at the very least, you need to talk to SOMEBODY, ANYBODY or it may get worse.

  • Thanks, i do have a lot of the signs. I just dont have anyone to talk to right now. My best friend is dealing with depression right now too so we just try to help each other the best we can.
