sold! ?

I posted about 150 bucks worth of stuff in craig's list today and this lady emailed me and wants it. She asked for my name, address and phone # so she could send me a certified check and contact me when she mailed it. I'm kinda nervous giving out my info like that but need the extra money...you think it's legit?

  • Try it... tell the bank you're not certain if it's a real check. Wait for the check to clear. Once it clears you can give her the stuff. If not, too bad.

  • Certified checks can be phony. Do you know how to determined if it is a real check or something just printed to look like a check? I don't so, I don't accept any kinds of checks.
