Milk for tots

How important is whole milk (My doc even said 2% was fine) for a 12mo old who is still breastfed?

It was my understanding that I could simply breastfeed and give solids(Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks), but my mom said I was supposed to give milk, cows milk, by now.

Whats your take on it?

  • Humans never need cow milk. We can get everything we need from plants.

A breast fed toddler really doesn't need cow milk. Human milk is perfect.

  • My doctor told me the same thing.
