How do I know if my baby is colicy and what do I do?

My newborn ds is wanting to nurse or use me as a pacifier since 8 o'clock.
He doesn't want his pacifier, he doesn't want his swing, he doesn't want attention. He just wants to suckle on my breasts. I can't imagine it's him being hungry. He'll fall asleep but once I withdraw, he wakes back up wanting it again.
What is colic exactly? How do I know if he has it and what can I do?

  • Colic is crying for more than 3 hours a day. Your baby sounds like he's stack feeding. He is boosting your milk supply. One night my baby ate from 8pm-2am. Just make sure he's latching on right or you will be sore. Hang in there. It won't be like this every night and by tomorrow night you will have amazing stripper boobs (my husband's term).
