What can I snack on and not gain weight?

  • celery, cucumbers, raw spinach, lettuce.

    Almonds are high in fat and calories. If you only have 4 or 5, you are fine, but not more than that. Meats are calorie dense, and some cuts of turkey are high in fat as well. Eggs aren't good unless you are only eating the whites, and unless you are doing plain yogurt, or yogurt with artificial sweeteners it is high in sugar.

  • Too much of anything will lead to weight gain. Small frequent meals are the key. Limit snacks to about 150 calories. Veggies with hummus are great, a thing of string cheese with some crackers, turkey and crackers, fruit, a small handful of nuts, a hard boiled egg...

  • I think it's good to break the snacking habit, too many of us nosh on stuff out of sheer boredom, find something else to do.

    So, the bottom line is you need to burn more calories then you take in....

  • drink a glass of water with anything in that 100 calorie range. u get full and not snacking
