  • I never did. I just washed them in hot soapy water. Nobody keeled over.

  • Never :) I sterilized them until we stopped using bottles around 18 months.

  • Are you heat sterilizing or with a bleach dip?

  • I sterilized them before I used them, and that was it. Every now and then I would throw the parts into my mico-steam bag that I had for my pump parts, but I only did that with my first child. WIth my 2nd, I boiled the nipples and washed the bottles on a high-temp wash with a sani-rinse in my dishwasher before the first use.

  • I would think the introduction to a few house-hold bacteria would be GOOD for your baby. I never bothered to sterilize my boob!

  • Must be a first baby, eh? By the time you have number 2 you're picking up the paci off the floor & licking it before you stick it back in their mouth!

  • We use the dishwasher, for all the pump parts, sippy cups, and bottles we use the liners. Figure we eat off the stuff why can't they! Yes I agree also I can't sterilize my boobs either lol.
