  • Can you ask her to come over and maybe the two of you can bake something together. Maybe she just doesn't have much experience in the kitchen. You can show her.

  • Unless you're in a prison camp and all you have to eat is her cooking... do you HAVE to tell her? How often does she offer you food? I would say if it happens rarely, just eat it to make her happy. If it happens a lot, make some polite excuses and ALWAYS bring something of your own cooking... maybe she'll get the idea? If she asks you flat out, then let her know she could use some practice....

  • Some of us need more time than others to develop our cooking skills! Maybe you could have her help you make a special dinner and teach her some of your skills as you go? What is wrong with her cooking? Maybe it's fine for her family; they may even like it! My sister used to be very touchy about her cooking; and she could and did burn water! But over the years I have learned to keep my mouth shut and she has really come around-she's a very good cook now!

  • Maybe you offer to cook more often and invite her to help you in the kitchen. Chances are she already knows she needs a little help.
