I want to make a cheese cake...for the first time (which one should I attempt)?

I am planning on making one, for practice, this next week.

Then I want to make them for holiday's, at both my SO's and my families houses.

So the one I practice will hopefully be good enough that I will make it again for the holiday's.

Which Type:

1.)Cheesecake factories original cheesecake
2.)Vanilla Cheese Cake w/graham cracker crust and Chocolate drizzle
3.) Oreo Cheese cake

Which one would you prefer?

  • The cheese cakes factories original cheese cake is fantastic ...wait...all cheesecake is fantastic ! I make cheesecake all the time. A few tips ; I know it sounds like a pain in the butt, but do the warm water bath when you bake it. Do not over mix ( or it will crack) Make sure your ingredients are at room temp. No matter what kind you make , I'm sure it will be tasty ! Good luck !

  • I have a super easy recipe for you, you can add in anything you feel like. One can (small can) of eagle brand condenced milk, one 8 oz block of cream cheese and 1/3 cup of lemon juice. doesn't have to be cooked :) set for 15 minutes and dig in!

  • I have a super easy cheesecake recipe that takes about 5 minutes to make. 1 8oz block cream cheese, 1 8 oz tub cool whip and 1/2 cup of sugar (I add less) and I add a tsp of vanilla. Blend together. You can add mini chocolate chips too. Spread in a prepared graham cracker crust. Let set in fridge for a couple of hours.
