What is your experience with washing feather pillows in the machine?

I've washed the other kind but never my feather ones. I know I should probably put 2 in at a time but I have 3. I wonder if I could put in a stuffed pillow with the feather one? So how did your feather ones come out after a run in the washing machine?

  • Flat. I have heard to put tennis ball in the dryer with them. It's suposed to fluff them back up?

  • Well, I just did 2 of them and tossed some tennis balls in...guess I will see what happens. If they come out too badly guess I will just get new pillows!

  • It always works fine for me. Make sure you are home and stay where you can hear the washer just in case in gets unbalanced.
It can take a couple of cycles in the dryer to get them completely dry.
