My 5 year old son has problems when it comes to using nasal drops for a stuffy nose which entails leads to mucus in his stomach as well because he won't let me use the nasal aspirator or saline drops,warm baths will help but once he gets out stuffiness again so what else can I do to help him breathe better?

  • tell him he has to let you use the saline drops....they work. Give him a piece of candy or something every time he lets you do it

  • You can turn teh sink on really hot in the bathroom and cover his head and sink..if that makes sense lol That way hell breathe in the steam and it should help loosen everything up. They also sell something like that and I think its by vicks

  • and by cover i mean with a towel so the steam is trapped between him adn the sink

  • Vicks on the bottom of his feet with clean socks on when he sleeps. If he won't let you do the drops, let it go. It's a stuffed nose it will go away. I HATE the drops, gives me a sore throat and headache, so he could have the same problem.
