  • no i didnt change mines at all but someone posted this on my wall that kinda freaked me out:IMPORTANT!!] people change your profile pics back
to YOU because the group that told us all to change our pics to cartoon
characters were a group of pedophiles. They're doing it because kids will
accept their requests faster if they see a cartoon pic, it has nothing
to do with ...supporting child violence. [check the news tonight... ...
    & pass it on.

  • It is supposed to be for child abuse we aren't already aware that child abuse happens everyday. Child abuse has been happening for thousands of years and it will continue to happen for thousands of years. Changing your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon character is not going to change that.

  • Ah well, I changed it back this morning anyway ...

  • True Joyzap, child abuse will continue, but in October, we support breast cancer with pink even though people die everyday from breast cancer and we don't know when there will be a cure. But we do it for the people we love. You may not know anyone personally that has been abused,, but think about your children's friends or the children and teens in your neighborhood. Its just to put awareness out and to let anyone out there that is or has suffered from child abuse, (be it physical, mental, or sexual) that there is hope and it is not going to be swept under the rug, nor is it anything to be ashamed of.
