  • Alzheimer's. It's affected several generations of my family (just that I've been around to see), and I really don't want to go through that or put my family through it.

  • My joints they are already giving me issues. And most of the women in my family have had to have joints replaced.

  • Not being able to care for myself - I'd hate to rely on anyone else to care for me, especially in terms of more intimate needs. And losing my mind, not like going crazy, but forgetting things, not being able to think as clearly or as well as I can now...

  • being alone to be left in an elderly home not beign able to take care of myself. also if my children die before me.
