Anyone ever deal with a delusional child?

My DD has a seizure disorder and this past thursday she was up at 2:30 AM. She did not really sleep much Friday or Saturday and today she was totally delusional. Thankfully we are in the hospital.

  • growing up my sister was like that- the drs said it was migraine weirdly enough - but she was put on meds which helped her sleep at night and the delusions never happened again

  • Yes... both my children have had persistent, waking dreams --that they of course needed to share with me because they were freaked out and needed to pass it on. It happened more than once for both of them, always because they were feverish.
