  • at 6 months it won't be memorable for him no matter what you do. he's too young to "cherish" things. but, if you want something for him to have for years to come, get tree ornaments with his name on them. that way, every year when you're decorating the tree he'll see the ones he's had since he was a baby. you can get ones that say "baby's first Christmas" on them and such.

  • Take lots of pictures of him and his family on Christmas. He will be able to share them with his children.

  • Most children between the ages 0f 0 to around 4 years old do not remember much later on in life. So your son will not remember this Christmas. You will. Take pictures of it. That will be the only memories will have

  • At his age, he will not remebr a thing. It is more for you than him. Even the first birthday is more for the parents than the child. How many people do you know who honestly remember that far back?

  • Hewon't remember, but you will. Like was mentioned, take pictures! I wouldn't worry about him remembering a specific gift for at least a couple of years!

  • He is to young to remember this Christmas. I agree with the others, take lots of pictures, get him a 'baby's 1st christmas' keepsake ornament or maybe make an ornament out of a current photo of him and each Christmas show it to him and put it on the tree. Then get him a few toys that he will like and when he gets older tell him 'you got that from Santa for your 1st Christmas. You were just a baby then and don't remember but.....(and go on to tell him about his Christmas)".

  • There is absolutely nothing that you could get him that he is going to remember at this point, unless it was a keepsake that he can look back at later on when he's older. Maybe along with anything else that you get him, you could get one of those really nice thick books of nursery rhymes or bed time stories and put a special note to him inside that he can read later. Pictures are always a good way to keep a memory as well =)

  • As others have said nothing you do will make this memorable for the baby but there is plenty to do to make it memorable for the parents. We have Santa pictures done every year & also get a yearly xmas ornament (every year their is a new one in the line).

  • I have bought all three of my children a First Christmas ornament. Honestly, toys will be long gone but that ornament is something they will be able to hang on their own tree with their family 30 years from now!
