  • Considering the only one holding the cuts up right now is Obama?

  • Obama wanted a tax cut for just the Middle class. He does want the unemployment benefits extended? Is that a bad thing?

  • The devil is in the details. Like how to pay for said UE extensions. We can't just run around throwing credit cards down to pay for everything. We are already broke, they should have to have a way to fund bills that they want to pass and in times like these they shouldn't be trying to pass anything that isn't absolutely necessary. Like no turtle tunnels, and things like that.

It's a bad thing when he turns it into his nuclear option when the clock is ticking down until it's too late. He's had 2 years, why is he just making this deal now?

  • That extension SHOULD come from the un-used TARP monies!

LOLOLOL you should try reading news more recent than last week. Both sides of congress are on board. The ONLY one holding it up right now is Obama.

They want that to artificially inflate the economy for the next election. They thought they could skate by on the blame Bush ticket this last election.
