I have the peanut oil from frying our turkey.

It is in the shed now and the temperature is cold. Is there a way to save it longterm to use again. It was so expensive I hate to throw it out after only one use.

  • We have the same problem. We have filtered the oil (cheesecloth and a large funnel should work) while it was liquid but not too hot, and reused it several times. Once you use it for something fishy, it's done for other applications, though;) This year, ours is out in the garage and solid. I'm hoping the bits either all float or sink and I'll just scoop the solid oil out and put it in my small, indoor fryer.
