I have a two month old. I was just wondering when you can stop burbing your baby?

  • when they learn to burp themselves. I think my son was about 6 months when I was able to stop with him.

  • i agree, around 6-9 months. after 3 months you don't really have to worry about gassy or colicky babies, but it's still good to burp them just incase.

  • When they can burp themselves. With my first it was about 5 months, with my second about 4 months. I did nothing but sit them up and out it came. No need to wonder, lol. :)

  • I stopped burping my dd around 3-4 months because she was burping on her own.

  • My DD is just shy of 6 months and I still burp her but sometimes when I sit her straight up the burp comes out on its own.
