  • They come in all sizes. My cousins dr told her since she couldn't take prenatals to take Flintstones chewables.

  • The ones I've seen have all been pretty big (Americans love big pills, because they feel like they do more- in other countries, pills are smaller, actually!)
You can cut them up and swallow them that way, or even mash them up, put a little syrup or something on them, and take them that way. I know between the size and the way you feel when you're pregnant, they can be tough. But it is important to take them.

  • I also have SERIOUS issues taking pills and vitamins are the worse, particularly when they are the size of horse pills!

I take One A Day Prenatal vitamins and you have to take two but they are fairly small in size. Plus with the coating they are fairly easy to get down. I've taken these through both pregnancies and nursing to children. My HCP says they are a good choice and much cheaper than the ones from the pharmacy.

She said your usually just paying for brand when you buy prescription vitamins.

I'm not really a huge fan of Amazon at this particular moment but I'm sure you could find them somewhere else.
