  • The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown
This is the guy who wrote The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons. I love his books.

I am a huge Dean Koontz, James Patterson and John Grisham fan. Tess Gerritson is also amazing. She writes CSI Style books but from the view of the medical examiner. So Cool. If you read her, start with The Surgeon and you will totally be hooked.

Steven James has a great series, Book 1 is called The Pawn, he writes about a FBI Agent who tracks serial killers using geo profiling instead of the normal crap.

If you like more of the Romance/Drama stuff, but not trashy, then Fern Michaels - Texas Rich series is a must read. The Vegas Rich series is okay, but the Texas series is really great.

  • Velocity, by Alan Jacobson.

It's a thriller, and a continuation of "Crush" by the same author. (You really have to read Crush first, it's free on Kindle right now.) This book is better than Crush, but this isn't my favorite author.

  • I'm re-reading The Street Lawyer by John Grisham. A high-paid, large firm attorney decides to quit his job and become a pro-bono "street" lawyer for the homeless. It's my favorite book.

  • Deeper Than The Dead by Tami Hoag

Murder/Suspense novel set in 1985. Kind of neat to think of investigating crime without DNA, cell phones and computers.

  • UGH!! We REALLY need an edit button for answers.

Chasing the Dime: Man gets a new phone number which happens to be the old number of a missing escort. He decides he has to find out what happened to her.

The Vanished Man: Lincoln Rhyme book ... Rhyme is up against a master illusionist and killer.
