  • I will bake aout 10 different kinds this year- Italian sesame seed cookies, tatu biscoti (Italian chocolate pepper cookies), butterballs, cut-outs, Christmas press butter cookies, candy cane cookies, meringue surprises, lemon squares, thumbprints, hello dolly bars.

  • so far we have only made sugar cookies and decorated them with icing and sprinkles. last year i made a variety of Christmas cookies but doesn't look like it this year. we will bake chocolate chip for Santa =)

    They have less butter, and the whole wheat flour adds some nutrition to them.  You can feel a little less guilty!

    applesauce fruitcake bars

    I pick one or two kinds and make a double or triple batch 2 or 3 times a week until Christmas, and I freeze them so that by Christmas I have a great variety for gifts and platters.

  • My oldest daughter must have the peanut butter ones with chocolate kisses on top...we will make those and plenty of chocolate chip cookies to give...and of course some for Santa.
