How did you feel when you saw your baby for the first time?

I was overwhelmed with emotion. I was so happy, I cried from all the joy!

  • I felt amaized and madly in love, the deepest love anyone can feel. I felt the same way with both my babies. I cry everytime I watch a baby be born just because it reminds me of that incredible feeling, that only a mother can feel.

  • Me too. I tried not to cry but I couldn't help it. I remember thinking "I never knew my mother loved me so much".

  • I love my daughter more than life itself. However when i had her I felt very emotional and strange. It was as if i didntknow her. It waas a horrible feeling, I felt like a failure. My mom explained to me that I needed to build a relationship and it made me feel better.. A week after her birth I was obsessed and happier than ever. It was either PPD or just the baby blues. But I really hope that things are diff with my next because I really feel that i missed out on that special moment. :( I also had a csection so i felt as far as the birth went that i didnt truly get to experience it. But dd is my life and words cant describe the love I have for her!!! =)
