Need new ideas...

Situation: I am taking over an office and need to update and remodel, we look like an office from a bad 1970's movie. Any ideas that make you comfortable in a professional setting? Any idea at all would be good, paint colors? Furnishings? Thank you!

  • Stick to neutral paints and carpet colors. Then pick a furniture style that reflects the personality of your business or you.

  • A room should make you feel comfortable, help you unwind, let you relax. Choose paint colors that are warm and friendly, like yellow or green neutrals.

Furniture, as long as it's comfortable, warm colors, It'd go good.... placing them in areas where it's open not cluttered. :D

Maybe coffee tables, with complimentary mints?

  • What about a feng shui office? There are lots of books and ideas that can help you set something like that up.

  • I also love red accents, but some people, like ones prone to headaches etc.... they're likely not fond of the colors, that's why I say warm, neutral colors.
