I threw a red rag in the wash by accident and all of my whites are now pink. Is this reversable?

  • Use a cup of bleach with detergent in the machine. Fill it and let it agitate a few minutes. Then turn off machine and let it soak a couple of hours. Then turn on machine again. You may have to do this more than once. Alos, you can get a Ritt dye remover, anywhere dyes are sold, usually at grocery or hardware store. It works well.

  • If you can't try the bleach route first (items not bleachable) then buy "Ritt's" transfered color remover at the grocery or store like Wal-mart for whole loads. For single items or just a few spots I use "Scat" stain remover.
