You cant have it both ways folks

Yesterday a mom was criticized (even being called a show-off) for wanting to spend their hard-earned $ on a Lincoln Navigator. But then you turn around & defend the GOP & their poor decision making on keeping tax cuts for the rich.
The GOP is getting away with holding the middle class hostage by being insistant about continuing the Bush tax cuts for those earning over $250,000 (it was discussed that they would even raise the limit to $1 million- no tax cuts for millionaires) in order for them to agree to extending the unemployment benefits. These so-called businesses that will benefit from the continued tax cuts are hoarding their money- they aren't hiring the unemployed! (At least not here in the U.S.) This behavior by the people who are supposed to be representing "the people" is disgraceful!

  • The GOP protected the middle class by insisting that the entire package be extended

That is the funniest statement I've ever heard.  Did you say that with a straight face.  Laughable.  They had a vote Saturday the republicans voted no on tax cuts for people making under 250, 000, and then no again on anyone that makes under a million.  Way to protect the middle class GOP, thank you

  • The GOP protected the middle class by insisting that the entire package be extended. They helped you and me keep our money. It was the dems holding the process hostage for some feel good public opinion. Oh look, we worked for you when in reality they were working against you and hard. The next to go would have been your tax cut which would have raised the revenue by a whopping $3 trillion dollars. The >$250,000 extention is chunch change. How long do you think the greedy dems in power would have kept their greedy little hands off your tax cut? No, the repubs were your friends. Save your money on the Navigator for a while until this calms down. You may still need it.

  • Libs and Dems spend YEARS saying that Bush's Tax Cuts were ONLY for the rich, NOW you want to complain about the parts that were intended to help the poor and middle class, that you refused to admit existed in the first place!! Talk about being hypocritical!

By the way, this is the BEST idea your guy the genius has, the guy who was going to bring change, and breathe new life in DC?! This mastermind of yours is just going to EXTEND an "evil Republican" policy?! LOL

Maybe YOU should have voted for someone who knew more about business than a 6 year old with a lemonade stand!!

  • Dems still have a majority. GOP isn't holding sh!t hostage. Neither are working in our best interest or they would be finding ways to fund our government without more borrowing.
