  • I make my own bread now because I can make 25 loaves for the cost of 5 premade loaves. We don't eat out anymore. We don't buy extras.

  • Cut back on eating out and don buy it unless its on sale. We are pretty frugal anyway but we are saving more now.

  • Thanks for your answers. I personally have started shoping at Goodwill for my clothes. I dress casually for my job so I can get some great bargains and I wash them thoroughly. I bought 3 DKNY tops, two pairs of levis and a few Ambercrombie & Fitch Tees for $25 for the lot. So happy. I haven't persuaded my boys to buy there yet, but they buy their own clothes because they both work.

  • I volunteer at a thrift store and there i get everything i need and what I don't get there I find on clearence. like right now my 6 yr old is outgrowing his clothes and the thrift store doesn't have anything in the next size..well after christmas everything winter goes on clearence so I will wait a few weeks and get him new clothes at %50 off the tag.
also we do not eat out unless it is a special night, like "burger night" at a nearby restraunt where a burger and fries basket is $2.50

  • We don't eat out as much, I make most of our meals here. DH doesn't buy breakfast & lunch as often while at work - I make him lunch or buy foods he can make at work (soup, ramen noodles and such). We have playdates at home instead of out at Chuck E Cheese every week. We still go to Chuck E Cheese and other play places, just not all the time. COUPONS!! I never shop without them and try to buy only when things are on sale. There are more things we do I just can't think of them right now.
