  • Kids: popcorn, graham crackers, sliced apples, carrot and celery sticks, Cheerios, yogurt (store brands are about 50 cents), jello squares or shapes.

Adults: nachos, sliced veggies and fruit, chips and salsa, bagel chunks and cream cheese, go to a bakery outlet and browse their bargains.

  • I love to make this Mexican chip dip, you just mix room temp cream cheese and sour cream with taco seasoning, top with shredded cheese, chopped tomato, green pepper, and green onion and serve with tortilla chips.

You could also do pizza pinwheels. Make two crescent rolls into a rectangle, fill with cheese and pepperoni, roll up, slice, and bake. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
