Could you mix children's zyrtec with triaminic?

i gave zyrtec to him bc he has allergies and has to take it every night. But he is congested and is coughing really bad. So i am not real sure what to give him to help him sleep.

  • I wouldn't risk it. Your best option is to call the pediatrian.

  • Never MIX medicine unless the pediatrician tells you to. NEVER. Call your doc's office. The on-call doc can call you back and tell you what to do. If not, take him the bathroom with you, close the door, and run the shower on hot and sit outside the shower in the steam. The steam will help. You could also use a Vick's vaporizer in his room for while he is sleeping.

  • when it comes to medication you shouldn't rely on answers from CM or any kind of internet answers you should call your baby's Doctor and if they are unavailable call your Pharmacist
