  • board books, there is this play school ball popper that my son has and he loves, you 6 month old will grow into it-and it has been on sale in the adds for like $15. (actually this week at Target) Fridge magnets-my DS LOVES fridge magnets and he has been playing with them since he was able to crawl over to the fridge! Clothes (I know its boring but its something he needs and a gift under the tree)

  • There are so many options on what to get him. Everything is always labled by age. My son is 11 months but I remember buying him 6month toys! They love new stuff and always notice something new!

  • I would get him one of those tunnel things with the tent. It will grow with him and it is good on a rainy day.

  • These are all great ideas. Does he have a high chair/booster? Kids are great when they are young and don't expect a lot of expensive things!

  • The tent is a great idea!! I would also look into getting some teething toys, books, bath toys. There is also this wooden block at Target I think its recommended for 12-18months, but you should definitely check it out....
