How do you wash ...

Your children's stuffed animals? DS threw up all over both of his lovies and I tried surface washing them, but they still stink! Can I throw them in the washer?

  • If you wash them, use a delicate cycle. Also, throw a 1/2 cup of vinegar and a 1/2 cup of baking soda into the wash as well as detergent. The soda scrubs and the vinegar kills germs as well as bleach. Dry very well. If they still smell, throw them out.

  • I throw them in a pillow case and then throw them in the washer.

  • I put ours in a pillow case and tie a knot at the end, it works well. GL

  • I throw mine in a front load washer. If you use a washer with an agitator they will never be the same again. With a front loader they come out as good as new!

  • you can tie them in a pillow case in the wash if they are puffy ones put tennis balls in the dryer with them
