Is manipulizing people a characteristic of Bi-Polar?

I'm not asking if people who manipulize others are bi-polar? I'm asking if people with bi-polar tend to manipulize others?

  • Not really. Try these: very little sleep needed, tangential in speech (can't get a word in edge wise, rapid pace and flies from one topic to the next). Grandious thoughts: my family owns the entire cell phone company. Going on wild spending sprees using everything and then some of what they don't even have. Usually very hyper sexual. Driven by a motor it seems like. This is during the manic phase. Depression stage can look different. They can be manipulative but really what is seen is bi-polar often paired with borderline personality disorder and that does carry a lot of manipulation. I suppose if manic some of their behavior can appear manipulative.

  • I think they CAN be manipulative, but I don't think it's a definitive symptom.
