  • sausage & potatoes - a family recipe. I use red potatoes, turkey kielbasa, onion, bell pepper, garlic, zucchini & yellow squash. Chop all ingredients & sautee in pan until soft. I usually put the potatoes & veggies in first & sautee in non-stick pam. I add the sausage when the potatoes are almost ready. I've also thrown everything in the pot with some water & put a cover on it & let it get all mushy like goulash - yummy! And low fat too

  • Kids and DH love these. IF there are any leftovers, they are good to freeze and reheat leater for snacks.
    Barbeque Cups
1 lb. ground beef, pork or turkey
    1 bottle barbeque sauce
    2 cans refrigerator biscuits
    Shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef, drain. Return to pan and add sauce, heat through. Flatten each biscuit out and place in muffin tins, to form a cup. Spoon beef mixture into each cup. Cook about 10 minutes (check biscuit can for oven temperature, and reduce by 25 degrees). Remove from oven and add cheese. Return to oven for a couple more minutes, just to melt cheese.

  • Our favorite! And it is SO easy and elegant enough for company too!

Place 4 pieces of chicken with the bone in a baking dish
Season the chicken with salt and pepper

Mix up the following in a bowl:
    1/4 cup dijon mustard
    2 Tablespons olive oil
    1/3 cup of melted butter
    1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon of curry powder, you can add more or less depending on your taste
    1/2 tablespoon of onion powder
2-4 cloves of minced garlic, depending on your taste
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp salt

Baste the chicken with this sauce, saving any reserve for basting. It is even better if you can marinate the chicken overnight in this sauce!

Bake at 350 for 60-75 minutes. Cover the baking dish with foil until the last 15 minutes, then bake it uncovered. Baste the chicken with the sauce 2-3 times during baking.

Best served with a white rice, I use indian basmati, but any white rice. We have also h
