What do you think of San Francisco's newest food trend - Fried Chicken and Waffles?

Never thought of that as a combination but now .... looks irresistible.

  • That's not new!! (well, it may be to them) It's been here in the south for years!! In fact Gladys Knight even has a restaurant here that is called Chicken and Waffles!! I so want to try it!!

    The concept of Chicken and Waffles was born in Harlem, New York in the 1930's. Wells served many celebrities as they hung out in the late night hours. Many of them could not decide if they wanted breakfast or dinner-Wells gave them both!

  • That's nothing new.

    Roscoe's (in LA) has been serving chicken and waffles since the 60's or 70's. Well, I remember eating there in the 70's.. lol

  • I've had chicken and waffles many times and it's yummy. The right amount of salt and sugar.
