  • i did my taxes last year my self , and for 2 years after your married you can file separate, now you can also file married-separate, many people do their taxes this way, my husband and i are not filing together this either, hope this helped some.:>)

  • You can check both, you don't have to file jointly. It's a pain in the butt to do seprate though. The best program that will become your friend is TurboTAX. It's fast it's easy and it's completly worth it!
