1 Bump

should I take him to A&E?

I dont know what to do Well I sort of do but my son is sort of one for making the most of things

This afternoon he fell and hurt his arm he says its not painful only when he moves it of lifts things up
Hes now saying his hand has pins and needles and the lower arm is throbbing

I dont want to wast the hosptial time if theres nothing wrong with it
As I said to him it will hurt

hes 15 years old and know for making a fuss over nothing but this time hes not making such a fuss just holding his arm

I dont fancey spending the night in A&E until the wee hours
Do you think I should see how he is in the morning and then go in if hes seems no better or if things get worse??

  • Do you think it could be broken because if it is not set properly it would need to be rebroken - yikes! My health insurance has a 24 hr triage call line - do you have access to something like that?

  • Thanks for the answers ladies
Its nothing to do with the money ladies as we have free health care here in the UK
We went this morning and found he has just swelling on the elbow and it should be ok in a couple of day
