Anyones hubby or partner do this?

My hubby wont change diapers. He changed our first son until he was 6 months then stopped. He gags if the kids have pooped. My youngest is 4 months. Is there a way he can do it without all the drama?

  • Nope, not here. My husband actually sometimes handles the poopy diapers better than I do, lol.

  • My husband has no problem changing diapers, but that doesn't mean he doesn't complain and make a big deal about it. You can hear him all through the house "eww, OMG!, this poop is huge!.." blah blah blah...
Sometimes I do it just so I won't have to listen to him whine.
(as a side note: he is great about everything else..bathing the kids, feeding, etc..)

  • My hubby is ok with diapers, even poopy ones as long as it isn't first thing in the morning. For some reason if it's first thing in the morning it makes him gag. It's hilarious, but not worth the drama. If he was one that was a drama queen about it all the time I would make him change diapers anyway, it isn't fair to have that task solely on one parent.

  • It depends on my husbands' mood. We both handle it like pro's and take turns!
