Can I use Vicks on a 1 year old for a cough?

  • yeah, just don't use alot. It is prefered that you use baby vicks though.

  • Put it on her feet before bed, and add socks or footie pajamas. It works for some reason.

  • I don't use, because I heard somewhere(maybe the pharmacists) that it can interfere with their airways, irritate it. But I know lots of other people who use.

    I would recommend asking your doc or your pharmacist.

  • mom taught me to put vicks on cloth and fold it then put on the child under clothes ,also if you use vipoer in the baby room will help as well

  • It can affect their airways if you put it under their nose.. which i used to always do as a kid. Just rub it on their chest or back.. and yes i've heard the feet also. They made one for babies that has the menthol and lavender and i love it!

  • Baby Vicks will probably be your best choice....
