Anyone shop at the Salvation Army, Goodwill or other Thrift stores for kids clothes?

  • Yep. That's pretty much the only way my kids get clothes right now unless they get hand me downs. Thrift stores have some nice stuff for a lot cheaper than you would find them at a regular stores. I can spend $20 and walk out with 5-10 outfits for both my kids.

  • All the time!!!!! Especially on the sales days. every wednesday,TODAY is family day, 50% off . I most of the time can find really good deals I like to find what my girls need the most to go with what they already have, and then the only stuff i have to worry about are socks,undies,.I even will look for sneakers that are in good condition,cause they wear those out so quick.I will buy them the ocational that's whats in style mom item.Ya know th skinny jeans.

  • I do, I love thrift stores, it's like a big treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find. I also shop at Gymboree, and Baby Gap, Khols, and occasionally Target for my kids clothes. I love shopping for kids clothes and my kids have way too many.

  • I do for my son's jeans. I bought new jeans in August and he just grew out of two pair a few weeks ago! I found 4 like new pair at Goodwill for $2 apiece

  • yes , yes and yes.........i buy ds's clothes all the time at thirt stores.....i also find great things for the girls and myself there too .......i bought my mothers xmas gift this year from a great thrift store two towns over from me (was new had the tags still on)

  • Not sure about your Goodwill, but ours is junk! I found a shirt that I bought at target for 2.39, over at Goodwill the same shirt, tag still on, was 6.50. Not happening here. We have a really good thrift store that has great items but is still just that, a thrift store. The Salvation Army is pretty picked through. We have several kids thrift stores. You've just got to be there at the right times!

  • yes for play clohes mostly, but i will occasionally find something very nice for school! My daughter loves that place cause she can pick out her play clothes!
